Are you a keen photographer? Do you have a discerning eye for the unusual shot? Do you know your ISOs from your SLRs? Do you dream of snapping that rare National Geographic worthy photo?
We are looking to run a contest throughout the year, free of charge and open to all. This is a great way to get recognised and share your photos with a wider audience. There is no minimum age, you just need adult representation for communication purposes.
Please submit your photos taken throughout each month, around the Great Munden area, covering 3.5 miles radius. You can send up to two photos per month via Messenger, providing date and location details .
We will accept photos of wildlife (mammals, birds, insects, aquatic life), macro, flowers, trees, landscapes, typical architecture, or night shots. Looking to showcase the best of what our beautiful area has to offer.
There is no prize of monetary value to be won, except the media recognition with your photos posted as a cover on our Facebook page, on our website and soon to come Instagram page.
No filters, no pictures of people, no nudity, no political or religious message. And photos cannot be taken in your own property/garden.
January and February are already over, and so, we'd love for you to share your photos from March onwards.
We may use the best and most popular photos in a calendar to be printed for 2024, for fundraising purposes and we will keep you updated. The Trustees will have the final vote on selected photos.
