Welcome to our new page.

 

We are eight Trustees and we have made good progress with admin matters. We are in touch with the Charity Commission, we have renewed public liability insurance, we have created this page and are in the process of creating a website. We have signed up with the East Herts Charity Lottery, and any kind donation will be hugely appreciated as we are starting from scratch!

 

The next step is to get the space fit for purpose, and there is a lot to do! We will be progressing in phases, and we will need your kind help for cleaning parties, etc.

 

We are hoping to hold small gatherings, such as book club, poetry club, language club, crafts and encourage the Parishioners to make suggestions and to step forward and run some of these groups/clubs.

 

Other informal gatherings will include monthly conservationist and foraging chats, possibly weekly outdoor exercise classes such as tai chi and yoga classes (we are in contact with some instructors) and one Friday night per month for Parishioners to catch up (in the warmer months).

 

We also plan to hold full (fundraising) events with activities and catering, the first one being planned for July/August.

Obviously all of the above is taking the Covid restrictions into account.

 

But we first need to get the Village Hall space and recreational gardens ready for everyone to enjoy and we hope we can count on you to help on the ground very soon.
